Whether you want your kids to have an appreciation for gardening or you're looking for some tips and knowledge to use for your own garden, we have just the class! We come directly to your house, church, or school so you can learn from master gardeners and get hands-on experience tailored for age and experience level.
Practical, Lifelong Lessons in Gardening
Classes for Beginners
These 75 minute classes are customized for the group's age range, the number of students, and the season. Learn about plant identification, beneficial insects, garden safety, when to and how to deadhead, and proper pruning techniques (depending on the age). Individual and adult classes are available.
What Students Get
Students receive age specific gardening activities, new gardening gloves to use in class and keep, a perennial or annual plant (depending on the time of year), and lessons on how to care for the plant.
Group Classes
Classes of five or more students receive a two hour class with the same benefits as smaller classes. Two master gardeners will teach the class.
Cost
1-4 students: $75
5-10 students: $150

We offer a 10% discount for school and church groups.
